Reviewer Suggestions
Authors may suggest qualified reviewers when invited to do so by the editorial office. A suggestion is advisory and does not guarantee that the person will be contacted or selected.
Suggested reviewers should have relevant subject expertise, a verifiable institutional or professional affiliation and no recent collaboration, supervisory relationship, close personal connection, financial interest or other conflict involving the authors or manuscript. Authors should provide an institutional email address where possible and must not create identities or accounts for suggested reviewers.
Authors may also identify reviewers they believe should be excluded and briefly explain the potential conflict. The editor retains full responsibility for reviewer selection and may use independent reviewers who were not suggested by the authors.
