Editorial Procedures and Peer-Review

Initial assessment

Each submission is checked for journal scope, completeness, readable files, authorship information and evident ethical or integrity concerns. A manuscript may be returned for correction or declined before external review when it is unsuitable or cannot be evaluated responsibly.

Peer review

Suitable manuscripts are assigned to qualified reviewers selected by the editor. Reviewers assess originality, methods, evidence, clarity, significance, references and presentation, and provide comments to support an editorial decision. Conflicts must be disclosed and review materials remain confidential.

Decision and revision

The editor considers the manuscript and reports, then records an acceptance, rejection or request for revision. Authors should answer communicated comments clearly and upload a complete revised file through the Author Portal. MSIS Press does not operate an automatic entitlement to acceptance after revision.

Publication

An accepted paper proceeds to production only after required metadata, agreements, files and any applicable payment are complete. The latest approved publication file is used for the version of record.
