Launching New Journals

Proposals for a new journal or transfer of an established scholarly title may be submitted to editor@msis-press.com. A proposal should identify the title, academic scope, responsible institution or society, proposed Editor-in-Chief, editorial-board plan, expected audience, publication history where applicable and approach to research integrity.

MSIS Press evaluates scholarly need, title distinctiveness, editorial independence, operational feasibility and long-term stewardship. Submission of a proposal does not create a publishing agreement or guarantee launch, ISSN assignment, DOI registration or indexing.
